HISTORY

DAITO PRESS Mfg., which was original from a press factory for an oiling device, started manufacturing rear views after World War II with seeing the business expansion in the future. We looked at the business opportunity of rear view which is necessary for drivers to see behind vehicles and drive safely. By combining the techniques grown as a press engineer and know-how of manufacturing mirrors in a region around Osaka, we succeeded to start the business immediately. We embarked on a niche field of back mirror first, we did not let other competitors coming in by getting patents, established our own manufacturing. With our forward-looking technical capabilities and customer-first spirit of delivering even a single product, DAITO PRESS Mfg. will continue to grow with our customers.

Founded as Kawamura-Shokai for manufacturing gardening tools by press processing in Higashinari-ku, Osaka.

1942.6

DAITO PRESS Mfg. was established after the merge of Kawamura-Shokai, Kotani Seisakusho, Ochi-Shokai, and Yoshida Seisakusho.

1957.2

Opened Joto Factory(Tsurumi-ku, OSAKA)

Opened Tokyo Sales Office.(Shinagawa-ku, TOKYO)

Started delivery of genuine assembly mirrors to automotive manufacturers
